What are the benefits of Laser Circuit over individual treatments?

The Laser Circuit is one simple and effective treatment that offers a combination of three IYAC treatments. Many people have a variety of facial concerns, which are usually best addressed by different therapies and treatments. For example, someone with facial discolouration, spider vein clusters around the edges of the nose and acne scarring may most effectively be treated through a combination of IPL treatments, laser for spider veins and the laser for acne. Instead of having to book three separate appointments- and pay the price of three separate treatments - one quick and cost-effective treatment incorporating all of these treatments can be booked through the Laser Circuit.

Is the Laser Circuit safe? What are the possible side effects?

The light and laser treatments offered in the Laser Circuit are all very safe. They are non-invasive, require no downtime, and regular activities can be resumed immediately. The most common side effects are redness and minor swelling which usually disappear within a few hours to a few days after treatment.

How long does the treatment last?

Depending on which treatments you receive and the severity of your condition, a Laser Circuit treatment usually lasts about 45 minutes.

Each Laser Circuit treatment also includes microdermabrasion followed by gentle extractions and a complimentary Gentlewaves®LED treatment to improve the skin's healing process.

Are the treatments painful?

While pain is an individual matter, most people tolerate the light and laser treatments well and describe the sensation as little ant bites or the snap of a rubber band to the skin. Generally, light and laser treatments are very well tolerated without anaesthesia, even in those with very low pain thresholds. However, a topical anaesthesia may be used for patients that request it.

What can I expect after a treatment?

You can immediately resume all activities and all usual skin care products. But avoid any products that may irritate the skin until all signs of redness fade.

Who is not suitable for Laser Circuit treatments?

Anyone that is extremely sensitive to light may want to avoid IPL treatments. Additionally, although laser treatments can be used effectively on darker skin, individuals with darker skin tones should be assessed for suitability beforehand.

How should I prepare for a Laser Circuit treatment?

Avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks before the treatment. Avoid the use of Retin A or other irritating skin products for three days prior to the treatment.

How fast will I see the results, and how many treatment will I need?

Improvements are gradual and become more visible after each treatment. The number of treatments that you need is highly dependent upon your specific skin conditions and concerns. In general, most people need between 6 and 10 treatments, spaced from 1 to 3 weeks apart (depending on the specific treatments required). Final results may not be apparent for several months. Most patients are satisfied by the results in a very short time.

It is important to keep in mind that sunscreen is vital to ensuring the results of the procedure last as long as possible.

Sunscreen should be an integral part of your daily skincare regimen.
