A skin tightening treatment using infrared light that stimulates collagen into a long-term rebuilding process, leaving clients with tighter, younger-looking skin. |
| Suitable For: |
Any area on face or body where skin is lax. Loose skin on the neck, along the jaw, abdomen and back of the upper arm have responded particularly well to this procedure. The treatment is safe for all skin types. |
| Procedure: |
A safe, infrared light is used to heat the dermis well below the skin’s surface. This heating causes immediate collagen contraction. During the procedure, the skin surface is protected through continuous cooling with the Titan® handpiece. After the procedure, new collagen growth results in further tightening and a smoother complexion with less lines, folds or looseness of the skin. |

| Side Effects/ Risks: |
Some redness and mild swelling on the treatment area might be experienced immediately after but usually dissipates in a few hours. |
| Duration: |
60 minutes for full face and neck treatment.
45 minutes for abdominal treatment. |
| Frequency: |
1 to 3 treatments at monthly intervals for desired results. Individual results vary, we will advise you as to the number and frequency of recommended treatments beforehand. Some clients see results immediately. For most clients however, the results are gradual over 3- 6 months as new collagen is formed and the skin tightens. |
| Discomfort Factor: |
A brief heating sensation is felt with each pulse. Anaesthesia is generally not required. |
