In our quest for a healthy lifestyle, it is essential to learn how to effectively manage stress, and devote quality time to relax both body and mind.

| 1. Regularly take time to rest, unwind, and enjoy life. This is a necessity, not a luxury. |
| 2. Begin and end your day in a calm manner. Make a habit of allowing an extra 10 minutes so you don't have to rush. |
| 3. Be present in the moment. Worrying about the past or future is rarely helpful. |
| 4. Have positive thoughts and attitudes. |
| 5. Ensure you have plenty of good quality sleep. |
| 6. Set aside half and hour daily to cleanse the mind. Do this in the form of breathing, meditation or yoga. |
| 7. Take time to appreciate the wonders and beauty of nature. |
