IYAC’s COVID-19 Protocols

IYAC’s Novel Coronavirus 2019-nCoV Protocols

Dear Valued Patients,

Just like many of you, we at IYAC have been following the developments of the COVID-19 both in Singapore and globally.

We appreciate the gravity of the situation and are strictly adhering to the advisories, guidelines and protocols issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH). This is to safeguard the health and well-being of everyone who comes to us in trust.

These are the measures that have been implemented at Camden Medical Centre and IYAC since 28th January 2020:

1. Your health, safety and well-being are our priorities. If you are unwell (not limited to fever, cold and flu-like symptoms), please call us in advance to re-schedule your session with us at IYAC, seek medical attention and stay home to rest. We will arrange to have you at the first available slot as soon as you are well.

2. All persons (including staff, patients and visitors) will need to sign a mandatory health declaration and have their temperature taken at Lobby 1, Camden Medical Centre. Anyone who visited mainland China or South Korea (Daegu city or Cheongdo county) in the last 14 days or had contact with anyone suspected to have COVID-19 infection in the last 14 days will be denied entry into the building.

3. If you had travelled to China (including Hong Kong and Macau SAR), South Korea, Japan, Italy, Thailand and Taiwan (areas with local transmission) within the last 14 days or have prolonged contact with anyone fulfilling a Leave of Absence or Stay-Home Notice due to COVID-19, do inform us and wait out 14 days before your next appointment. This is to minimize any potential risk of transmission from asymptomatic individuals. If you feel unwell in this period, do seek medical attention promptly.

4. In addition to the well-equipped hand basins within the common areas of IYAC, we also provide sanitizers for your hand hygiene. Do remember that your face is sacred and don’t touch it with unwashed hands.

5. The management of Camden Medical Centre has also stepped up sanitizing processes. Lifts, toilets and common areas are cleansed and sanitized on the hour. Hand sanitizers are also available at the lift landing of every floor.

As the COVID-19 situation is dynamic and constantly evolving, we will also update our measures along the way as necessary. We appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation and apologise for any inconveniences caused.

Let’s keep each other safe and healthy for a long time to come.

Sincerely,

Dr Yeoh, Dr Chung and the IYAC team
