IYAC’s COVID-19 Protocols

IYAC’s Novel Coronavirus 2019-nCoV Protocols

Dear Valued Patients,

In these challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we at IYAC remain steadfast in prioritising your health, safety and well-being.

We have been constantly updating our COVID-19 protocols in accordance with the advisories and guidelines issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH).

These are the measures that have been implemented at Camden Medical Centre and IYAC:

1. All persons will need to sign a mandatory health declaration and have their temperature taken at Lobby 1, Camden Medical Centre.

Entry into the building will be denied for anyone who:

- Is serving a Quarantine Order (QO), Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or Leave of Absence (LOA)
- Has contact with suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection in the last 14 days

2. If you are unwell (not limited to fever, cold and flu-like symptoms), please call us in advance to re-schedule your session with us at IYAC, seek medical attention and stay home to rest. We will arrange to have you at the first available slot as soon as you are well.

3. If you had arrived in Singapore before Friday 20th March 11.59pm, we seek your understanding to defer your appointment to at least 2 weeks after your arrival date.

4. If you have prolonged contact with anyone fulfilling SHN or LOA, do inform us and wait out 14 days before your next appointment. This is to minimize any potential risk of transmission from asymptomatic individuals. If you feel unwell in this period, do seek medical attention promptly.

5. At IYAC, we take pride in maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. In response to COVID-19, we have undertaken extra measures to make our housekeeping even more rigorous. We have continued the use of hospital-grade disinfectants, and increased the frequency of cleaning our high-touch areas.

6. In addition to the well-equipped hand basins within the common areas of IYAC, we also provide sanitizers for your hand hygiene. Do remember that your face is sacred and don't touch it with unwashed hands.

7. The management of Camden Medical Centre has also stepped up sanitizing processes. Lifts, toilets and common areas are cleansed and sanitized on the hour. Hand sanitizers are also available at the lift landing of every floor.

As the COVID-19 situation is dynamic and constantly evolving, we will also update our measures along the way as necessary. We appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation and apologise for any inconveniences caused.

Thank you for your continued trust in us.

Let’s keep each other safe and healthy for a long time to come.

Sincerely,

Dr Yeoh, Dr Chung and the IYAC team
