What is it?

Laser Circuit is a combination of laser and light therapies customised to suit your individual needs. Laser Circuit treats a range of skin conditions, and is suitable for all skin types.

There are 3 steps involved:
  1. Ultrasound Cleansing - gently deep cleanses and exfoliates the skin.
  2. Laser and Light Treatment - a combination of laser and light treatments are selected by Dr Yeoh to address your specific concerns.
  3. LED Treatment - a finishing light treatment for wound healing and radiance.
Each session is individually tailored to your skin condition to offer you the finest photofacial rejuvenation available.

Is Laser Circuit right for me?

Laser Circuit targets the following concerns:

  • Skin rejuvenation (improvement in tone, texture and open pores)
  • Pigmentation (freckles, age and sun spots, deep pigment and melasma)
  • Acne
  • Facial veins, redness and sensitive skin
  • Maintenance of healthy skin

What laser and light treatments are available in the Laser Circuit?

The laser and light treatments are available from the following menu:

  1. IPL for Skin Rejuvenation

Intense Pulsed Light beams are applied to the face where it converts into heat energy to smooth out skin tone and texture, encourage healthy cell renewal and minimise skin discolourations.

  2. Laser Skin Rejuvenation (RevLite®)

Light energy from a gentle laser passes through the upper layer of the skin to remove deep-seated pigmentation and stimulate natural collagen growth.

  3. Laser for Spider Veins (Fotona)

Laser energy is used to reduce redness and broken capillaries on the surface of the skin.

  4. Laser for Acne (Dual Yellow Laser)

Yellow light from this laser destroys acne bacteria thereby eradicating active acne, at the same time reducing redness, melasma and improving sensitive skin.

Is the Laser Circuit safe? What are the possible side effects?

The light and laser treatments offered in the Laser Circuit are all very safe. They are non-invasive, require no downtime, and regular activities can be resumed immediately. The most common side effects are redness and minor swelling which usually disappear within a few hours to a few days after treatment.

How long does the treatment last?

A Laser Circuit treatment usually lasts about 40 minutes. Each treatment also includes Ultrasound Cleansing, Laser and light treatment, followed by an ®LED treatment to improve the skin's healing process.

Are the treatments painful?

Most individuals tolerate the light and laser treatments well and describe the sensation as little ant bites or the snap of a rubber band to the skin. Generally, light and laser treatments are very well tolerated without anaesthesia, even in those with very low pain thresholds. However, a topical anaesthesia may be used for patients that request it.

What can I expect after a treatment?

You can immediately resume all activities and all usual skin care products. But avoid any products that may irritate the skin until all signs of redness fade.

Who is not suitable for Laser Circuit treatments?

Anyone that is sensitive to light may want to avoid IPL treatments. Additionally, although laser treatments can be used effectively on darker skin, individuals with darker skin tones should be assessed for suitability beforehand.

How should I prepare for a Laser Circuit treatment?

Avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks before the treatment. Avoid the use of Retin A or other irritating skin products for three days prior to the treatment.

How fast will I see the results, and how many treatments will I need?

Improvements are gradual and become more visible after each treatment. The number of treatments that you need is dependent upon your specific skin conditions and concerns. In general, most people need between 3 and 6 treatments, spaced from 3 to 4 weeks apart (depending on the specific treatments required). Although final results may not be apparent for several months in some, most patients are satisfied by the results in a very short time.
It is important to keep in mind that sunscreen is vital to ensuring the results of the procedure last as long as possible. Sunscreen should be an integral part of your daily skincare regimen.
