Hair Loss
What Is Hair CPR?
Hair CPR combines five synergistic, hair-boosting technologies in a multi-step protocol—customised with IYAC’s meticulous care—to give you a painless, results-driven scalp treatment that feels more like a soothing scalp massage.
It’s suitable for mild to moderate hair loss from various causes, including:
-
Male & Female Pattern hair loss
-
Stress-related shedding
-
Post-illness shedding
-
Weight Loss-related hair loss
-
Post-pregnancy & Perimenopausal changes
Note: Hair CPR is not suitable if you’re pregnant or have a pacemaker, cochlear implant, or metal plate in the skull.
Why Choose Hair CPR?
-
Noticeably less hair fall after the 3rd session
-
Thicker, denser-looking hair after the 6th session
-
Non-invasive and painless—feels like a massage
-
No needles, no downtime
-
Can also be used preventively, before hair loss becomes visible
What Happens at Each Session?
Your first session includes a hair and scalp analysis to assess the degree and type of hair loss.
Then the 45-minute treatment unfolds in five targeted steps:
1. Scalp Cleansing
Cleansing and disinfecting preps your scalp for optimal absorption.
2. Nutrient Infusion
A growth factor and peptide-rich serum is applied directly to thinning areas.
3. Shockwaves & Microchannels
An acoustic tip delivers pressure waves that create microchannels, allowing key ingredients to reach the follicle roots while improving oxygen and circulation.
4. Iontophoresis & Red-Light Therapy
Microcurrents and low-level laser stimulate the scalp and enhance ingredient absorption.
5. Acupressure Scalp Massage
The session ends with a relaxing massage to ease tension, stimulate lymphatic drainage, and complete the treatment on a calming note.
Most patients find Hair CPR comfortable. Some may feel light tapping at the temples during the treatment, which quickly goes away once the handpiece is moved.
How to Prepare & What to Expect After
Before Treatment:
– Arrive with clean, dry hair, preferably washed earlier in the day.
– Please inform your therapist of any scalp sensitivities or allergies.
After Treatment:
– Most people have no downtime.
– Occasionally, stimulation of the scalp may cause mild redness, swelling, itching, tenderness, or a slight headache. These effects are temporary and can be managed with simple painkillers if needed.
– Normal activities, including exercise, may be resumed immediately.
– Hair may be washed as usual, preferably 4 hours after the treatment.
– Avoid hair dyes, perms, or other scalp treatments for 2 days before and after each session.
How Many Sessions Are Needed?
We recommend 6 sessions over 4 months, spaced 3 weeks apart for best results.
For prevention: repeat the 6-session cycle yearly
For ongoing hair loss: consider maintenance sessions every 4–6 weeks
Is Hair CPR Enough on Its Own?
Hair CPR is a comprehensive scalp therapy that improves circulation to reduce shedding.
However, hair loss often has deeper causes, such as hormonal shifts, stress, or nutritional deficiencies.
That’s why we also provide:
-
Lab testing to screen for nutrient or hormonal imbalances
-
Personalised supplements based on test results
-
Topical or oral medications (if needed)
-
Home-care to support your results between visits
For patients seeking a more comprehensive and sustained improvement in hair health, our 6-month Hair Growth Program combines 5-in-1 Hair CPR with regenerative micrograft therapy. By targeting hair follicles at the cellular level, this programme aims to enhance hair density and restore scalp coverage over time.
