What is the Firming Circuit?
The Firming Circuit (FC) is a twice-yearly customised program designed to lift and firm the face and neck.
It targets key areas, including the eyelids, jawline, and overall skin quality.
By combining two established technologies — radiofrequency (RF) and high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) — it works at multiple depths to stimulate collagen production, contour facial features, and improve skin texture, including fine lines and pores.
Each session is tailored to your needs and offered at a fixed price for standard coverage — eyes, cheeks, and under-chin — providing a personalised approach without complicated costs.
What are the technologies used in the Firming Circuit? Do I need to choose between them?
RF (Radiofrequency): Works on the skin’s surface and upper layers to support skin tightening and improve texture.
HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound): Penetrates deeper layers to provide lifting and contouring effects.
Every Firming Circuit is different and customised by the doctor to address specific concerns and suit the varying skin thicknesses.
Which areas are treated?
A standard Firming Circuit session targets the eyes, cheeks, and under-chin areas.
Customisation beyond the standard circuit, including the lower neck and/or décolletage area is available and subject to an additional cost.
Note: For patients who are not suitable for eye treatment, the lower neck or décolletage area may be included instead, based on the doctor’s recommendation.
Is the Firming Circuit right for me?
The Firming Circuit addresses early signs of skin laxity — such as a loss of jawline definition, mild jowls, drooping of the brow or eyelids, or generally less firm skin. These changes can begin as early as the thirties, as natural collagen production slows and underlying muscle and bone volume decreases.
You are a suitable candidate if you:
– Have mild skin laxity of the lower face, jawline, neck, or brow
– Want preventive collagen stimulation to maintain firmness or slow the progression of laxity
– Prefer a needle-free, non-invasive firming treatment with minimal to zero downtime
– Are refreshing for an upcoming event – some patients notice subtle improvements within 1–2 weeks, while most see more noticeable results over 2–3 months.
The Firming Circuit is not suitable for pregnant individuals.
At your initial consultation, please inform the doctors if you have implanted electronic devices (pacemakers or defibrillators), cochlear implants (not hearing aids), or metal implants/plates in the skull.
Individuals with heavier eyelids, cheeks, or thicker double chins may require other lifting and skin-tightening treatments, such as MFU-V or microneedling with radiofrequency.
What results can I expect?
With ongoing collagen stimulation, the Firming Circuit helps achieve a subtle, natural lift and improved skin tone across the eyes, cheeks, and neck.
Some patients notice early tightening within 1–2 weeks, while the full effect develops over 2–3 months as collagen continues to build.
Can the Firming Circuit replace a surgical facelift?
No. A surgical lift repositions deeper tissues and removes excess skin.
The Firming Circuit stimulates the production of new collagen and tightens existing collagen fibres via RF and/or HIFU. It addresses early skin laxity, helps smooth and refine facial contours, crepey skin, jawline definition, and neck tightening, but does not replicate surgical lifting or remove excess skin.
The Firming Circuit helps to maintain firmness and to delay or complement future surgical options.
What happens during the Firming Circuit?
The skin is first cleansed, and the treatment areas are mapped out. A topical numbing cream is usually applied for comfort, although this is not needed around the eyes, where the procedure feels more like gentle warmth.
During RF treatment, a grounding pad is placed on the back.
For both RF and HIFU, a cooling gel is applied to keep the skin comfortable. The handheld devices gently heat the skin to stimulate collagen production, helping to lift, tone, and smooth the treated areas.
Each session finishes with LED light therapy to support healing.
A standard Firming Circuit takes about 90 minutes, including preparatory and post-care.
Are the treatments painful?
No, the treatments are not painful.
Most patients comfortably tolerate the treatment with topical anaesthesia and describe the sensation as a mild tingling or a deep, brief warmth.
Sensitive areas, such as along the jawline or under the chin, may feel slightly more intense for a few seconds while the energy is delivered.
For treatments around the eyes, the sensation is usually a gentle warming, and numbing cream is generally not required.
Are there any side effects?
After a Firming Circuit, most patients notice only mild to moderate redness, which typically fades within an hour. As there are no open wounds to the skin, makeup can be applied immediately, and normal daily activities can resume right away.
No special aftercare is generally required, though you may be advised to avoid direct sun exposure or certain skin products for a short period following treatment.
How should I prepare for the Firming Circuit?
Keep well-hydrated before and on the day of treatment.
Avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks before the treatment. Avoid using isotretinoin/retinol or other irritating skin products for three days before the treatment.
How many sessions are included?
As a lifting and firming program, the Firming Circuit comes as a package of 2 sessions, with a recommended interval of 6 months, for year-round collagen stimulation.
It’s also available as a single session.
