What is Bio-remodelling Hyaluronic Acid for hands?
Bio-remodelling Hyaluronic Acid (HA) uses a high concentration of stabilised hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin, stimulate collagen and elastin, improve skin quality, and slow down the signs of ageing in the hands.
How does Bio-remodelling HA work?
Bio-remodelling HA provides a high concentration (64mg/2ml) of hyaluronic acid, allowing for a greater degree of hydration of the skin.
The stabilised hyaluronic acid is slowly released over 1 month. During this time, bio-remodelling HA acts as a catalyst, and the skin is stimulated to produce 4 different types of collagen and elastin.
Over time, this results in improvements in:
• Firmer skin
• Softening wrinkles and lines
• Hydration
How is Bio-remodelling HA different from Fillers?
For mild to moderate ageing of the hands, bio-remodelling HA firms the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin production. For more severe ageing or hollowing of the hands, fillers remain the preferred option for replacing volume loss in hollow areas.
Is Bio-remodelling HA suitable for me?
This hyaluronic acid injection is ideal for both male and female patients in their 40-50s who have mild to moderate skin laxity and wish to improve the skin’s hydration, collagen and elastin content to achieve:
– Skin firming with
– Softened wrinkles and lines using
– Minimal injection points for maximal comfort.
Bio-remodelling HA is also used as a preventative option for those in their 30s to prevent skin laxity and maintain the youthful appearance of their hands.
Bio-remodelling HA is suitable for all skin types and carries little to no down-time.
Which areas can Bio-remodelling HA treat?
Bio-remodelling HA is frequently used to firm and smoothen the skin at the back of the hand, making the whole hand look more youthful.
What can I expect during and after the procedure?
The administration of a full syringe of bio-remodelling HA needs only 5 injection points per hand and typically takes 10-15 minutes. This procedure is performed with topical anaesthesia to ensure the treatment is as comfortable as possible.
The session ends with LED light treatment to speed up the healing process of the needle marks. The raised bumps from bio-remodelling HA will resolve over a few hours as its hyaluronic acid quickly integrates with the skin.
How many sessions do I need?
For optimal results, we recommend an initial 2-3 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions every 6 months.
Bio-remodelling HA is not a filler, but a collagen stimulation agent. Results are not immediate but take time. Expect your hands to look more hydrated and plump over 4 weeks, with full results seen 1-2 months after your 2nd session.
Who is not a good candidate for Bio-remodelling HA?
Women who are breastfeeding or pregnant should not receive bio-remodelling HA.
