How does Bio-remodelling HA work?
Bio-remodelling HA provides one of the highest concentrations (64mg/2ml) of hyaluronic acid around, allowing for a greater degree of hydration of the skin.
The uniquely stabilised hyaluronic acid is slowly released over 1 month. During this time, bio-remodelling HA acts as a catalyst and the skin is stimulated to produce 4 different types of collagen and elastin.
Over time, this results in improvements in:
• Firm skin
• Softened wrinkles and lines
• Hydrated skin
How is Bio-remodelling HA different from Skinboosters and Fillers?
In essence, bio-remodelling HA is specially stabilised and actively bio-remodels skin, firming the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin production. On the other hand, Skinboosters are micro-droplets of hyaluronic acid deposited into superficial wrinkles to hydrate and smoothen the skin. Fillers remain the preferred option for replacing volume loss in hollowed and sunken areas.
Unlike the other injection techniques of Skinboosters (multiple superficial injections into the skin) and fillers (deep injections), bio-remodelling HA’s spreadability within the skin means that only 5 injection points are needed per side of the cheek.

How many syringes will I need?
Bio-remodelling HA firms the skin in the face, neck and décolletage. It can also smoothen acne scars, and be used to treat other parts of the body where the skin is prone to sagging and wrinkling, such as the back of the hands or the knees and post-pregnancy abdominal skin laxity.
What can I expect during and after the procedure?
The administration of a full syringe of bio-remodelling HA needs only 5 injection points per side of the face and typically takes 10-15 minutes. This procedure is performed with topical anaesthesia to ensure that the treatment is as comfortable as possible.
The session ends with LED treatment to speed up the healing process of the needle marks. The raised bumps from bio-remodelling HA will resolve over a few hours as its hyaluronic acid quickly integrates with the skin.
How many sessions do I need? When do I expect to see results?
For optimal results, we recommend an initial 2-3 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions every 6 months.
Unlike other hyaluronic acid injectables, bio-remodelling HA, as a bio-rejuvenating agent, will take time to effect. Results are not immediate. Instead, your skin gradually improves over 4 weeks, with full results seen 1-2 months after your 2nd session.
Who is not a good candidate for Bio-remodelling HA?
Women who are breastfeeding or pregnant should not receive bio-remodelling HA.
Can Bio-remodelling HA be combined with other treatments?
Yes, bio-remodelling HA is often combined with other anti-ageing treatments:
Bio-remodelling HA restores youthfulness to the skin and complements fillers. A smaller amount of filler is needed to replace lost volume when ageing skin is first treated with bio-remodelling HA.
Bio-remodelling HA works well with botulinum toxin and fillers to restore the bounce and natural-contours of ageing and crepey necks.
Bio-remodelling HA also acts synergistically with other heat energy devices like Microfocused Ultrasound with Visualisation (MFU-V) or HIFU for more visible skin tightening and lifting.
What do I prepare for Bio-remodelling HA?
To minimise bruising, stop blood-thinning supplements and medications 5 days before your treatment. This includes aspirin, vitamin E, fish oil and gingko.
