What is RF Lift?
Our RF Lift is a non-surgical treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to lift, tighten, and refine the face and neck. It works by gently heating the deeper skin layers, stimulating new collagen, and contracting existing fibres.
Safe for all skin types — including sensitive skin — it addresses concerns such as:
• Early skin laxity and mild sagging
• Brow support and periorbital rejuvenation
• Crepey skin (cheeks, under-eyes)
• Jawline and neck definition
The treatment is well-suited for periorbital rejuvenation, helping the eye area look refreshed and more alert. For the eyes, the procedure is generally comfortable, typically does not require numbing cream, takes approximately 15 minutes, and can be readily combined with other treatments.
Can an RF Lift replace a surgical Lift?
No. A surgical Lift repositions deeper tissues and removes excess skin.
The monopolar RF Lift warms the deeper skin layers to stimulate the production of new collagen production and tighten existing collagen fibres. It addresses early skin laxity, helps smooth and refine facial contours, crepey skin, jawline definition, and neck tightening, but does not replicate surgical lifting or remove excess skin.
Patients choose RF Lift to maintain firmness and to delay or complement future surgical options.
How do I know if RF Lift is the right treatment for me?
A monopolar RF Lift is suitable for individuals with early signs of skin laxity — such as a loss of jawline definition, mild jowls, drooping of the brow or eyelids, or generally less firm skin. These changes can begin as early as the thirties, as natural collagen production slows and underlying muscle and bone volume decreases.
This treatment helps to restore firmness, refine facial contours, and maintain youthful definition before laxity becomes more pronounced.
You are a suitable candidate if you:
• Prefer a needle-free, non-invasive, comfortable treatment with minimal to zero downtime
• Have mild skin laxity of the lower face, jawline, neck, or brow
• Want a preventative approach to support skin firmness and delay progression of laxity
• Have an upcoming event and want to look refreshed — some patients notice subtle improvements within two weeks, while most see more noticeable results over 2–3 months
RF Lift is not suitable for individuals who are pregnant, have implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers or defibrillators, or cochlear implants (which differ from hearing aids), or have metal implants or plates in the skull.
What kind of results can I expect from RF Lift?
RF Lift treatments deliver gradual, natural-looking tightening by stimulating the formation of new collagen and contracting existing fibres.
• Right after the treatment: A subtle lift and mild tightening as existing collagen contracts. Some patients may notice a visible lift within 2 weeks.
• Gradual improvement: Over 2–3 months, the skin shows a natural-looking and gradual lift, with improved jawline definition and softer fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.
• Longevity: Results can be maintained with repeat sessions every 6–9 months.
What happens during RF Lift?
The skin is cleansed, and the treatment areas are mapped out. A topical numbing cream is usually applied for comfort, although this is not needed around the eyes, where the procedure feels more like gentle warmth.
A grounding pad is placed on the back for effective delivery of the RF energy, while a cooling gel keeps the skin comfortable. A handheld monopolar RF device gently heats the skin around the eyes, stimulating collagen to firm, lift, and smooth the skin.
The session ends with LED light therapy to support healing.
How long does each treatment take?
• Eyes: approximately 15 minutes
• Full face (including double chin): 30–45 minutes
Is RF Lift painful?
Most clients describe a deep, brief warmth with tolerable discomfort. Cooling spray and vibration are adjusted in real time to enhance comfort. Sensitive areas (e.g., along the jawline or under the chin) may feel more intense for a few seconds.
For treatments around the eye area, the experience is a gentle warming sensation, and numbing cream is typically not necessary.
Are there any side effects? What can I expect after an RF Lift?
Immediately after an RF Lift treatment, mild redness may occur, usually fading within an hour. Makeup and daily activities can be resumed immediately. No specific care is required after treatment, although you may be advised to avoid sun exposure and certain skin products for a short period afterwards.
Expect lifting and toning over the next 2-3 months, as tired collagen is renewed and replaced with new, stronger collagen. As this collagen-building process continues, further improvements can appear up to 6 months following a single treatment.
How do I prepare my skin for RF Lift?
Keep well-hydrated before and on the day of treatment.
Avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks before the treatment. Avoid the use of isotretinoin/retinol or other irritating skin products for three days before the treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
Many individuals see improvement after one session, especially for early laxity.
Repeat a session every 6 to 9 months to stimulate collagen production and maintain skin firmness year-round.
Can RF Lift be combined with other treatments?
Yes—combination therapy often enhances outcomes. Depending on your needs, you may benefit from staged or sequenced options such as:
• HIFU (for deep tissue lifting, such as for those with heavier cheeks and a double chin)
• Collagen biostimulators (e.g., PDLLA or polynucleotides) for skin quality and further tightening
• Botulinum toxin (strategic placement, such as in Botulinum toxin for Facelift, and for softening the appearance of lines and wrinkles)
• Lasers (for tone, redness, or texture concerns)
Price:
From $1200 for Eyes to $2800 for a Full Face (includes double chin) treatment
